Launching in Australia, April 2027

Size and fit.

Every hat comes in two sizes. Measure your head, then compare it with the sizes below.

Two sizes

S
Fits a 55.5 cm head
L
Fits a 59.5 cm head

The wool beanie, the wool bucket and the cotton beanie come in the same two sizes. The bucket and the cotton beanie are made only if there's enough interest. You can change the size you reserved when sales open.

How to measure

  • Where

Around your head where a hat sits: level, about a finger's width above your eyebrows and the tops of your ears.

  • How tight

Snug, not tight. Use a soft tape measure, or a piece of string you then lay along a ruler.

  • Then

Compare the number, in centimetres, with the two sizes above. If you land between them, you can still change your size when sales open.

How each hat fits

Shop the hats
  • Beanie

The opening is 570 mm round in S and 610 mm in L, and the beanie is 180 mm from the opening to the top in both.

  • Bucket

Only the band inside touches your head: 570 mm round in S, 610 mm in L. The 60 mm brim falls at 20°, clear of your ears.

  • The same height

Heads differ in girth, not height, so only the size around changes between S and L.

  • A close fit

The fit is close on purpose: by our calculations, a roomier hat would let the air inside circulate and insulate less.

  • Specified to within 5 mm

Each hat is specified to within 5 mm of its size around, and within 3 mm of its height, when new.

These are the specifications for the first production run. Nothing has been made or measured yet. The bench mat comes in one size, 430 × 600 mm.
